Day 1
DAY 1

Day 1: Bangalore to Mysore (The City of Palaces)

Morning: Depart Bangalore early (around 6:00 AM) via the Bangalore-Mysore Expressway. Stop at Srirangapatna (the island fortress of Tipu Sultan) to see the Ranganathaswamy Temple and Daria Daulat Bagh. Afternoon: Reach Mysore, check in, and head to the Mysore Palace. Spend 2 hours exploring its grand Indo-Saracenic architecture. Evening: Visit Chamundi Hills for a panoramic view of the city. End the day at Brindavan Gardens to watch the musical fountain show (usually starts after 7:00 PM). Overnight Stay: Mysore

DAY 2

Day 2: Mysore to Coorg (Gateway to the Hills)

Morning: Visit the Mysore Zoo (one of India's oldest and best-maintained). After breakfast, check out and drive towards Coorg (Madikeri). Afternoon: En route, stop at Bylakuppe Golden Temple, the second-largest Tibetan settlement in India. Nearby, visit Cauvery Nisargadhama, a beautiful river island. Late Afternoon: Check into your Coorg stay. Evening: Relax at Raja’s Seat for a sunset view over the rolling hills and valleys. Overnight Stay: Madikeri or a nearby coffee estate homestay.

Day 3: Exploring the Heart of Coorg

Morning: Visit Talacauvery (the source of the River Kaveri) and the Bhagamandala temple at the confluence of three rivers. Afternoon: Head back towards Madikeri to see Abbey Falls, tucked inside coffee and spice plantations. Afterward, explore the Madikeri Fort and Omkareshwara Temple. Evening: Visit a local Coffee Plantation. Many estates offer guided walks where you can learn about coffee, pepper, and cardamom cultivation. Overnight Stay: Madikeri

DAY 4

Day 4: Wildlife & Return to Bangalore

Morning: Visit Dubare Elephant Camp early (be there by 9:00 AM) to participate in elephant bathing and feeding. If time permits, you can try river rafting here. Afternoon: Start the drive back to Bangalore. You can take the Kushalnagar route or go via Hunsur. Evening: Reach Bangalore by night.
